Classification of refrigeration air compressor according to transmission mode
The main shaft of the open refrigeration air compressor needs to obtain energy from the motor, so the main shaft of the air compressor should be connected with the main shaft of the motor, so that the motor drives the main shaft of the air compressor to rotate
According to the different transmission mode, air compressor can be divided into direct drive type and indirect drive type.
1.Direct drive refrigeration air compressor
Direct drive is also called coupling drive, which means that the main shaft of the refrigeration air compressor and the main shaft of the motor are on the same line, and the coupling is used to connect them in the middle.
The motor consumes electric energy to make its main shaft rotate. The main shaft of the motor drives the main shaft of the air compressor to rotate through the coupling.
As shown in the left part of Figure 16, the motor shaft is equipped with another half of coupling, and the air compressor shaft is equipped with another half of coupling, which is connected by rubber elastic ring or intermediate connecting cylinder.
2. Indirect drive refrigeration air compressor
Indirect drive, also known as belt wheel drive, means that the air compressor is placed parallel to the main shaft of the motor, and the middle is connected with the belt wheel and the drive belt.
The motor shaft drives the pulley to rotate, the pulley drives the drive belt, and the drive belt drives the pulley of the air compressor to rotate, so as to rotate the main shaft of the air compressor.
3. Classification of refrigeration air compressor according to working evaporation temperature range
For single-stage refrigeration air compressor, it can be generally divided into three types according to the range of its working evaporation temperature: high temperature air compressor, medium temperature air compressor and low temperature air compressor.
For example: abnormal heating of the piston group, the following list of some famous air compressor products use the approximate working evaporation temperature classification range.
1) High temperature refrigeration air compressor: (- 10 ~ 0) ℃.
2) Medium temperature refrigeration air compressor: (- 15 ~ 0) ℃.
3) Low temperature refrigeration air compressor: (- 40 ~ 15) ℃.
4. Classification of refrigeration air compressor according to refrigeration capacity
According to the refrigeration capacity of the refrigeration air compressor under the standard working condition, it can be divided into three types: large, medium and small.
1) Large refrigeration air compressor: (580 ~) kW.
2) Medium refrigeration air compressor: (58 ~ 580) kW.
3) Small refrigeration air compressor: (~ 58) kW.
In some cases, the refrigeration air compressor with the refrigeration capacity below 5.8kw under the standard working condition is called micro refrigeration air compressor.
Large refrigeration air compressor is mostly used in petrochemical process and large air conditioning system.
The medium-sized refrigeration air compressor is widely used in cold storage, refrigeration transportation, and refrigeration and air conditioning devices of general industrial and civil industries.
Small refrigeration air compressors are mostly used in small refrigeration and air conditioning units of commercial retail, public catering, scientific research, health and general industrial enterprises.
