The following instructions and suggestions can extend the service life of the compressor, so the user should carefully put the listed measures into practice.

When running a new compressor or a compressor that has been shut down for a long time or has been overhauled, the first thing to do is to make it in the state of operation preparation.

2.1Preparation before the first operation

2.1.1Removal of protective agent

If the compressor has been added with protective agent before delivery, the nameplate on the compressor shall be strictly followed.

Before running the compressor, the anti-corrosion oil must be removed from the crankcase and replaced by the compressor oil.

The anti-corrosion oil and protective agent in the air chamber or water-cooled compressor water chamber need not be removed. After the compressor is started, the air in the body is discharged into the atmosphere until no anti-corrosion oil is found.

2.1.2 Oil filling

2.1.2.1 Compressor

Before the initial start-up or after 3-6 months of long-term shutdown, if there is no lubricating oil in the piston compressor, appropriate lubricating oil shall be injected into the crankcase.

2.1.2.2 Rotation

If the compressor unit is driven by diesel engine, it shall be used according to the instructions of the diesel engine manufacturer.

2.2 Inspection before the first startup

3 Operation of compressor unit

3.1Check whether the compressor is ready

The inspection oil quantity (Oil level in compressor crankcase)shall be between the minimum and maximum marks of the following oil dipstick or oil mark hole:

Check the running state and direction of the compressor.

Be careful:

Never leave tools, spare parts or rags on or inside the compressor unit. Before starting to operate the compressor unit, Wang Ming did not have anyone on board to carry out inspection and repair work!

3.2 normal starting

Check whether the compressor is ready to start operation, open the air supply valve and manual drain valve.

The starting sequence is to start the generator set first, then the diesel engine, and then the deceleration clutch.

Note: before starting the generator set, it is necessary to ensure that the power transmission air switch of the generator and the incoming air switch of the electrical cabinet in the piston skid are disconnected

Starting process of generator set

First, turn on the battery switch of the generator set, insert the power switch key of the insertion point to turn on the power supply clockwise, select the knob at the upper right corner to the "automatic" state, press the "auto" heating start button, the generator set will enter the normal start procedure, and turn on the power transmission air switch after the start.

1) Close the air inlet switch in the distribution cabinet, open the air supply ball valve, and then press the "auxiliary engine start" start button (start the oil pump and oiler) to make the oil pump, oiler and water pump work. At this moment, the oil pressure of the compressor is established, and the oil pressure should be 0.45-0.60mpa. Turn on the battery switch of the main diesel engine, start the engine to preheat for 3 minutes @ speed 800r / min, then press the "speed up" button to increase the engine speed to 1200R / min, then manually press the "main engine combination" button to combine the deceleration clutch, and then increase the engine speed to 1560 R / min, and the piston engine is started.

2) This product has a high degree of automation. During the test run, the operation of the compressor is not restricted by any conditions. However, at this time, the user should focus on the unit. After 5 to 10 minutes of test run, the compressor shall be inspected as follows.

a) Check whether the bearing and crosshead slide are overheated.

b) Check whether the compressor leaks oil or gas.

c) Before delivery, the compressor unit has experienced full load test run, however, during the first few hours of compressor operation, special attention should be paid to correct operation data and correct action of exhaust control.

3) After preheating and operation, adjust the air supply ball valve of the compressor to make the compressor work normally.

3.3 Inspection during work

During the operation of the compressor, the following inspections shall be carried out regularly, so as to find out the faults in time, so as to protect the machine from damage and avoid the economic loss caused by repair and shutdown.

After maintenance, these inspections shall be carried out in a shorter period during the first few hours of test run.

Be careful:

The following checks shall be carried out after every 10 hours of work or at least once a day:

1) Observe the oil level, if the oil level is too low, stop the machine for supplement.

2) Observe the automatic water outlet of the electronic drain valve. Under normal conditions, water often leaks out. If there is no water or a large amount of compressed gas for a long time, shut down for maintenance.

3) The operator shall make operation records for each shift, including pressure, temperature, oil temperature, oil level, operating hours, etc. if possible, the infrared temperature detector can be used to detect the temperature of each place. By recording the pressure and temperature parameters and forming a database, compare with the rated value. If any deviation from the rated value is found, the cause and solution shall be found out immediately.

4) Note any abnormal noise (such as knocking sound of cylinder or crankcase). In this case, stop the compressor immediately, empty the pressure and find out the reason.

5) Lubrication of lubricating mechanism: check the available oil quantity and the oil pressure on the lubricating oil circuit.

6) Cooling water: check the cooling water temperature.

3.4 Normal shutdown

Shutdown sequence: first vent and unload (the last stage vent of the piston engine), first reduce the engine speed to 1200R / min, press the "main engine separation" button, then turn the piston engine down to 800-1000r / min, run for 3 minutes, turn off the piston engine, and finally stop the generator. Note: before shutting down the generator set, it is necessary to ensure that the power transmission air switch of the generator set and the incoming air switch in each skid motor cabinet are in the off state. The specific operation steps are as follows:

1). Open the vent ball valve by hand; release the pressure in the system

2). Press the "speed reduction knob" on the electrical cabinet of the compressor to reduce the engine speed of the piston engine to 1200R / min, and then press the "main engine separation" button to turn to the unloading state;

3). Press the "speed reduction knob" on the electrical cabinet to reduce the engine speed of the screw machine to 800-1000r / min, and run it for 3min without load to let the coolant continue to circulate and cool the cylinder liner, so as to avoid damaging the cylinder due to high temperature shutdown

4). No load operation for 3min allows the coolant to continue to circulate and cool the cylinder liner to avoid high temperature shutdown and cylinder damage;

5). Stop the engine of the piston engine (turn the dial key at the lower right corner of the engine operation panel to off),

6). Press the stop button of the auxiliary machine in the electrical cabinet of the piston machine skid to stop the auxiliary machine of the piston machine.

7). Disconnect the power transmission air switch of the generator set

8). Press the stop key on the generator unit panel, the generator unit enters the shutdown procedure, and when the generator unit stops, turn the power key anticlockwise and pull out the key;

9). After shutdown, the air and water in the compressor unit shall be discharged in time and all valves shall be closed.
